Jana-Lee Germaine

Jana-Lee Germaine is the recipient of the 2025 St. Botolph Club Foundation Don Kissel Emerging Artist Award for Literature and the 2022 Patricia Dobler Poetry Award. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Poet Lore, On the Seawall, Nelle, MER, Water~Stone Review, New Ohio Review, Nimrod, Cimarron Review, EcoTheo Review, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Sugar House Review, december, The Baltimore Review, Bellevue Literary Review, and elsewhere. She earned an MFA from Emerson College, is a Senior Poetry Reader for Ploughshares, and is Social Media Marketing Manager for Presence. A survivor of domestic violence, she lives with her husband, four children, and four rescue cats in semi-rural Massachusetts.
